Floating The Myson Floortec floating floor panels are pre-routed with grooves set at 200mm centres. The grooves are designed to accept aluminium diffusion plates which spread the heat laterally across the floor from the heating pipework.

Floating Floors

The Myson Floortec floating floor system has been uniquely developed to meet the increasing demand for this type of flooring construction. Floating floor structures have a low thermal mass and consequently have a swift response time to changes in temperature. Floating floors can be used in conjunction with a proprietary resilient layer to meet the requirements of building reglations approved by document E.

Myson underfloor floating floor systems have an effective output of 70 W/M².

Extruded Polystyrene panels are pre-grooved with grooves at 200mm centres.

A bell shaped groove is provided at one end of each panel to allow for turning of the pipework at the end of a run.
